Some changes to SPT supported services from 13th July 2025

Some changes to SPT supported services from 13 July.
A number of changes will be made to services which we operate on behalf of Strathclyde Partnership for Transport (SPT) with effect from the week commencing Sunday 13th July.
New Services
14 Rutherglen – Fernhill
We will take over operation of this hourly Monday to Saturday route, which will operate to a slightly revised timetable.
70 Paisley local service
We will take over operation of this off-peak Monday to Saturday service, which will continue to run to the same timetable as currently.
Services with timetable changes
We will continue to operate the following services although SPT have introduced some changes to the timetables, primarily due to budgetary restraints. Full details under each service.
6 Hawkhead – Paisley
The 0731 Hawkhead to Paisley journey will no longer operate and the 0705 Inchinnan to Hawkhead journey will now run 30 minutes later.
20 Cochrane Castle – RAH (Saturday Only)
The last journeys on a Saturday will now be the 1430 Cochrane Castle to RAH and 1500 RAH to Cochrane Castle. All Saturday journeys after 1530 will therefore no longer operate.
20A Johnstone – Paisley (Sunday Only)
The following Sunday journeys will no longer operate – 0803, 0903 Johnstone to Paisley and 0834 Paisley to Johnstone.
30 Johnstone – Spateston
The following journeys will no longer operate – 1808 (Mon-Fri) and 1823 (Sat) Johnstone – Spateston.
49 Govan – Southpark (Monday to Saturday)
A revised timetable will be introduced to improve the punctuality of the route. The basic hourly timetable will be maintained but with some timings adjusted by a few minutes.
49 Silverburn – Shawlands (Sunday Only)
The 1920 Silverburn to Shawlands journey will no longer operate.
59 Mosspark – Glasgow City Centre
The evening timetable will be curtailed with the last journeys now operating at the following times:

All current journeys operating after these times will no longer run.
81/81A/81B Duntocher – Clydebank – Linnvale
The 1850 Linnvale to Duntocher and 1907 Duntocher to Linnvale Monday to Saturday journeys will no longer operate. Additionally, on Monday to Friday evenings the last journeys will be the 2121 Duntocher to Linnvale and 2138 Linnvale to Duntocher journeys. On Saturday evenings the last buses will remain at the current times. There are no changes to the Sunday timetable.
124 Govan (Asda) – Cardonald via Mosspark
On Saturdays this service will only operate in the morning with the last journey being the 1151 Cardonald to Govan Asda. All Saturday afternoon journeys will no longer operate. There is no change to the Monday to Friday times.
153 Silverburn – Glasgow City Centre via North Pollok
The 2305 Silverburn to City Centre and 2338 City Centre to Silverburn journeys will now only operate on Friday and Saturday evenings. On Sunday mornings the 0645 Silverburn to City Centre journey will no longer operate.
165 Rutherglen – Cambuslang (Cairns)
A revised timetable will be introduced with Monday to Friday journeys leaving Rutherglen at 1845, 1945, 2045 and 2145, returning from Cairns at 1917, 2017, 2117 and 2217. On Saturday evenings there will be additional trips one hour later at 2245 from Rutherglen and 2317 from Cairns.
307/307A Lochwinnoch – Johnstone Station
The 2229 (Mon-Sat) Lochwinnoch to Johnstone and 2311 (Fri/Sat) Johnstone to Lochwinnoch journeys will no longer operate. All other journeys will once again serve the Braehead ‘scheme’ in Lochwinnoch.
507 Greenock – Midton
The following Monday to Friday journeys will no longer operate – 2020,2050,2120 Midton to Greenock and 2035,2105,2135 Greenock to Midton. In addition, on Saturday mornings the 0816 Trumpethill to Greenock journey will no longer run.
Services which we will no longer operate
Whilst we will no longer provide the following services, they will continue to operate to revised timetables with other operators. Full details should be available from SPT.
312 Caldercruix – Coatbridge (operator to be confirmed)
337 Beith – Kilmarnock (to be operated by Shuttle Buses)
374 Shawlands – Clarkston – Silverburn (to be operated by Swift Travel)
